State Rep. Ryan Hamilton Secures Funding for Methuen and Haverhill in House Budget
In a recent announcement, State Rep. Ryan Hamilton shared the good news that both Methuen and Haverhill have received substantial funding in the House Budget for the upcoming year.
Methuen was allocated 68.62 million in Chapter 70 funding, while Haverhill received 87.97 million. Additionally, Methuen received 6.56 million in Unrestricted local aid, with Haverhill receiving 11.87 million.
One of the exciting initiatives for Methuen is the implementation of Care Solace, a program that will provide every resident with access to a virtual meeting with a mental health professional within 24 to 48 hours of the request. This innovative program is set to revolutionize mental health services in the area.
For Haverhill, Hamilton secured funding for the Cogswell Art Center, which will provide a space for artists in the Merrimack Valley region. The former school in Bradford will be transformed into a premier arts and performance venue, showcasing the talents of local artists.
