Craig Benson Continues to Serve on Planet Fitness Board of Directors
Colleen Keating Appointed as CEO of Planet Fitness, Craig Benson to Remain on the Board of Directors
In an exciting development for Planet Fitness, Inc., Colleen Keating has been appointed as the company’s Chief Executive Officer, effective June 10, 2024. With over three decades of experience in various industries, Keating brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the role. She is currently the CEO of FirstKey Homes LLC, the fourth largest single-family rental home property management company in the United States.
Following Keating’s appointment, Craig Benson, who has been serving as the Interim CEO, will step down from his role but will continue to serve as a member of the company’s Board of Directors. Benson expressed his confidence in Keating as the next CEO and looks forward to collaborating with her as a board member.
Chairman of the Board, Stephen Spinelli, Jr., praised Keating’s operational knowledge, strategic mindset, and proven track record of building results-oriented teams. He believes that her leadership will be instrumental in accelerating Planet Fitness’s growth in the coming years.
