Arman Tsarukyan and UFC avoid legal action after incident at UFC 300

Arman Tsarukyan Escapes Legal Action After Allegedly Punching Fan During UFC 300 Walkout

Arman Tsarukyan, the rising UFC fighter, found himself in hot water after appearing to punch a fan during his walkout at UFC 300 in Las Vegas on Saturday night. However, it seems that Tsarukyan and the UFC won’t face any legal action following the incident.

The fan in question, Obed Ardon, spoke to Bloody Elbow on Monday and explained that the emotions of the moment got the best of him. He was there with his brother on the floor and insisted that he has no intentions of filing a lawsuit against Tsarukyan.

“I will not sue, that never crossed my mind,” Ardon said. “My first thought was, ‘I hope I don’t get kicked out.’”

Tsarukyan reportedly got physical with Ardon on his way into the Octagon, making aggressive movements towards the fan. While it’s unclear if Tsarukyan actually made contact with Ardon, he admitted after his fight that he was provoked by Ardon flipping him off.

“He showed me that he wanted to f***ing punch me, and I wanted to punch him back, that’s it,” Tsarukyan said. “No one shows me ‘f*** you’ [like that], it doesn’t matter who you are, I’m going to punch you in the face.”

Despite the tense moment, Tsarukyan went on to win his fight against former lightweight champion Charles Oliveira by split decision, marking his fourth straight victory and the biggest win of his career.

Ardon later apologized for provoking Tsarukyan by flipping him off and expressed his excitement about attending his first live UFC event. He was relieved that the incident didn’t escalate further.

The incident initially left UFC CEO Dana White fearing a lawsuit, but it appears that the situation has been resolved without legal consequences for Tsarukyan and the UFC. With his impressive win at UFC 300, Tsarukyan could be on track for a title shot in the near future.
